Wellington Lanes has been a neighbourhood since 1997. The community was built by Geranium Homes, Arista Homes, B W Homes and Tribute.
Having several builders in the area makes for lots of styles and variety of homes with floor plans and sizes to suit everyone. The winding streets, unique traffic circles and wonderful streetscapes enhance the look and feel of the community.
Wonderful small parks are dotted thruout the community so you're never far from a place to play, sit and relax or visit
with your neighbours.                                      
The community sides onto a  natural ravine that is easily accessible as well as giving access to the Aurora Leisure Complex on the opposite side of the ravine .  There you'll often see baseball or soccer games on a summers eve  or
folks coming and going from the pool and fitness centre.

Shopping is within walking distance. Off Bayview there is a large Zeller's Market Store, Sobey's, Home Depot, New Super Store with clinics and fitness centre located within and various other small shops, including a wonderful relaxing coffee bar. A short walk down to Wellington  gives you access to Home Hardware,fast and gourmet food.

Northern Lights Public Elementary opened in 2003 , and Catholic Elementary opened in 2005, both are   walking distance for the students in Wellington Lanes.
G.W. Williams High and Cardinal Carter Catholic secondary service this community but are not located within it.
